One good thing I can say about the slot is that it’s pretty atmospheric. From the white backgrounds to the howl of wind in the background, it just screams “winter” the way most similarly-themed slots don’t. Most slots of that nature tend to be more Christmas-themed, so it’s nice to get something that does winter so very well. With that said, though, it IS a fruit machine, after all, so don’t expect anything mindblowing in the audiovisual department. Expectations should be similarly curbed when it comes to the gameplay, as there’s really not much here to brag about. You can play one or two coins, which alters your winnings, and… That’s about it. The biggest feature I can point towards, besides the presence of a Wild symbol, is that you get a special prize if you manage to match any combination of the three different “Bar” symbols. That’s the limit here, as far as gameplay is concerned. That aside, it’s just like any other fruit machine.

Conclusion – Give The Cold Shoulder
I really like the visuals of this slot – they’re cold, atmospheric and very appropriate for the winter seasons. Unfortunately, I can’t really point out much more than that when it comes to singing praises. “Frost Bite” is a really uninspired slot that honestly feels like it was done to just meet some sort of quota rather than because the developers had a brilliant idea for it. And I get it – fruit machines aren’t supposed to have some kind of huge innovation in them, or anything that makes them stand out. They’re supposed to be kept simple and enjoyable by those who don’t want to bother with the big 5-reel slots. But that doesn’t mean there should be absolutely no innovation! Just a little something extra on top to distinguish the slot from all the others of its ilk would have been enough, but sadly, I’m not finding anything of the sort here.
