The Theme and Symbols in Detail
It’s not the first time we’ve seen various themes mish-mashed in a slot but they’ve all somehow managed to make sense. Well, here… we’re not so sure. The medieval setting is obvious, and while we can run a romantic thread to tie the princess and knight on a white stallion, we’re not exactly sure what to make of the mail box, bag full of letters, and all the food. The lower value symbols are a chocolate bar, ice cream worthy of a princes since it’s got its own tiara, various meats stacked like a kebab on an arrow, a bucket of fried chicken, a pizza, a red letter box, the white stallion, and the knight and his princess talking on a mobile phone (someone thought all the other extravaganza wasn’t enough so they decided to throw this one in, too). Special symbols include the logo which is the wild, a green postbag as the scatter, and the raised drawbridge that unlocks the bonus game.

Bonus Features and Gameplay
Chain Mail has 5 reels and 20 paylines of which you can select fewer and play with lower bets. You can wager from just a penny when playing a single line to £100 if you bet 5 coins at the highest value and activate all paylines. Base game wins are neither frequent, not that generous but here to save the day is the wild symbol that will help you complete winning combinations and will also double the rewards from them. Although there’s a scatter symbol, it doesn’t give you any free spins – just wind that are multiplied by your total bet and added to payline wins. You can play the Castle Bonus game by landing at least three bonus symbols on reels 1, 3, and 5 simultaneously. In a classic ‘pick me’ round, you will have to select and open one of seven doors on five rows. Each one will reveal a cash reward but it might also be hiding Princess Roxy or Uncle Mordread. If you find Roxy, you will win all prizes on that level but red-faced Mordread will end the game and send you back to the base game with the amount you’ve won so far.
