Fire Joker Online Slot: Casino Top Picks, Demo & Video

We can’t be certain, but if there was ever a special place in hell for unfunny jesters, we may have found it. Play’n GO’s fiery take on the classic slot machine is anything but, and would leave even the most militant arsonists unenthused. The game has no personality, and with the vast library of online slot games on the internet, we don’t know why you wouldn’t look elsewhere for a better slot. Want to ignore our warning and still play with these flames? Try a free demo below.

Gameplay

This slot is a retro-styled three-row-three-reel slot with five fixed paylines that pay from left to right. It is unfair to criticize this slot because it doesn’t have a bonus game, the simple gaming experience is kind of what retro slots are going for. But, Play’n GO didn’t even try on this one. Come on, even retro slots these days give the modern fan something to work with. Like most of us, when you were a child you thought everything was radical if it was covered in flames. That’s the idea behind Fire Joker. If you’re playing this game, hopefully you, like us, are no longer a child, and chances are, in your old age, it takes more than cheap thrills to entertain you. The game features a wild that replaces all symbols, which include the classic symbols you have come to know and love over the years: sevens, bars, fruits and x’s. The game’s two special features, if we can call them that, are a bet multiplier wheel, and a free spin game. If you fill the reels with the same symbol, you get a chance to spin the wheel and multiply your winnings by 10x. The respin feature is activated if two reels contain the same symbol, but there are no winning paylines. If this happens, the two reels freeze, while the last reel spins again for a second chance at winning. By the way, the spinning reel is covered in flames, but don’t be fooled by this trickster, it is a normal respin.

Conclusion – You’ve Got to be Joking

Fire Joker is a low effort release from Play’n GO. Obviously there is still a committed community of nostalgic fans, otherwise, developers wouldn’t keep releasing these games. Retro slots do offer a great opportunity to game on the go, but with so many developers creating mobile optimised games, retro slots are struggling to hold our attention. Like most three-reelers, the game has a high volatility, but a decent RTP of 96.15% The multiplier can potentially win players up to 800x their initial bet, but other than that, there isn’t much to the game. We aren’t going to lie, we really did like this game’s music though. An electro beat, modelled after the aurally pleasing sounds of arcade games, will surely have you tapping your feet as you spin away. Do you feel the need to defend these archaic slots of the past?
