The eagle, snake, lizard, and mighty Buffalo Spirit itself are immortalised as slightly awkward versions of their proper majestic selves, doomed to roll on this five-reel, three-row slot for eternity. Don’t rely on a beautifully ambient soundtrack to win you back either – the only sounds to hear are clanking effects on the click of a spin button, or the tortured moo of the namesake animal should its role as a Wild symbol become apparent. Even the standard playing card symbols aren’t quite right – usually we find the King, Queen and Jack in play, but in this game, they’re instead represented by the card suits. Not that there’s anything wrong with that per se, but it’s just the shrivelled cherry on top of this disaster of a game. Our last hope: are there any bonus games, or free spins to bring this catastrophe of a game back from the brink? Sorry, nope. Nada. Conclusion – So Bad it’s Bad
Somehow, all of the negative aspects to the Buffalo Spirit game still don’t add up to the magical “so bad it’s good” description. The awful graphics and terrible sound effects are barely helped with what is honestly a not terrible return to player (RTP) percentage of 95.97% leave a lot to be desired. We had a really difficult time trying to identify a significantly positive selling point about this Scientific Games slot but have come up empty-handed. Is there something you enjoyed?
